These handheld snacks turn plain tortillas into crisp, pizza-filled cones, all in the air fryer. Each tortilla half gets rolled into a cone, pinned with a toothpick, and crisped at 180°C (350°F) for 5 minutes before any filling goes in; that first pass is what keeps the cone sturdy so the sauce cannot soak through. Pull the toothpicks, pack in grated mozzarella and sliced pepperoni, spoon pizza sauce into the middle, then air-fry another 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and gooey. Stand the cones upright in the basket so they hold their shape. About 20 minutes start to finish, and the batch serves four.

Instructions

Cut each tortilla in half. Roll each half into a cone shape and secure with a toothpick. Air fry at 180°C / 350°F for 5 minutes to make them crispy and sturdy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why crisp the cones before filling?

A first air-fry sets the tortilla into a sturdy, crisp cone so it holds the filling upright without going soggy when you add the sauce and cheese.

How do I keep the cone shape?

Roll tightly and pin with a toothpick for the first crisping, then remove it before filling. Stand the cones upright in the basket so they do not unroll.

Can I make them ahead for a party?

Crisp the empty cones ahead, then fill and do the final melt just before serving so they are hot and the cheese is gooey.
