Terms of Use

Last updated: July 26, 2026

These terms apply when you use webspoon.world ("the site"), operated by Webspoon World ("we", "us", "our"). By browsing, printing, or cooking from the site you accept them. If you don't, please don't use the site. We've kept this short and readable rather than long and defensive.

1. Recipes are guidance, not guarantees

Every recipe here is written up from a dish we cooked and filmed ourselves, and we check the numbers before publishing. Even so, kitchens differ. Ovens run hot or cold, air fryers vary by model and basket size, pan material changes browning, and ingredients differ by brand and country. Treat our times and temperatures as a starting point and cook to the visual and textural cues described in the steps.

If a stated quantity or timing looks wrong to you, trust your judgement and please tell us — we correct errors and we'd rather hear about one than have it stand.

2. Food safety and allergies

  • You are responsible for safe cooking. Follow your local food-safety guidance for handling and storing raw meat, poultry, eggs, fish, and dairy, and for safe internal temperatures.
  • Check every ingredient yourself if you have allergies or intolerances.Tags such as "gluten-free", "vegan", or "high-protein" describe the recipe as we wrote it, not the specific products you buy. Formulations and cross-contamination risk vary by brand.
  • Nutrition figures are estimates. They are calculated from typical ingredient values, not laboratory-measured for your version of the dish, and will shift with brands, substitutions, and portion size.
  • Nothing here is medical or dietary advice. If you are managing a health condition, pregnancy, or a diagnosed allergy, talk to a qualified professional.
  • Appliances. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for your air fryer, waffle maker, oven, or pressure cooker. Where our instructions and your appliance manual disagree, the manual wins.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss, injury, or damage arising from use of the recipes or other content on the site.

3. Our content

The recipes, written instructions, editorial text, photographs, and video on this site are ours, and the videos it draws on are produced by our own YouTube channel, @webspoonworld. They are protected by copyright.

You may, without asking us:

  • Cook any recipe here, for yourself or commercially
  • Print a recipe for your own kitchen use
  • Share a link to any page, anywhere
  • Quote a short extract with visible credit and a working link back to the page it came from

Please don't, without written permission:

  • Republish a recipe's full instructions or our photographs on another site or app
  • Use our content to train a commercial model, or scrape the site at scale
  • Present our work as your own, or remove credit

Recipes as ideas aren't ours to own — nobody owns "smashed potatoes". What is protected is our particular wording, photography, and video. Write it in your own words and cook it however you like.

4. Links and advertising

The site links to third-party sites and embeds YouTube videos. We don't control that content and aren't responsible for it. The site may display advertising served by third-party ad networks; how ads and consent are handled is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Availability and changes

We publish new recipes regularly and revise older ones when we improve a method or fix an error, so pages change over time. We don't promise the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may update these terms; the "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
